I must PROTEST.

The decorations have been taken down.
The lights have been unplugged.
The Christmas season has ended.
And the tree has begun to dry up and die....

But there is one who refuses to completely let go of Christmas.....
He said he does not need lights.
He said he does not need decorations
He said he does not even need an "alive" tree....
And that under NO CIRCUMSTANCE will he be moving from under that tree.

Yep, we have our own little DEMONSTRATOR in our midst.

Ahh come on Emmitt, let the season go!!! And Bravo Kelli that I'm not the only one who has packed the season away...Our tree upstairs is the only thing still standing, otherwise everything is packed up. Kids asked to let that tree stand until Sunday...I'm so ready for the new year!! Hope you have a wonderful 2011 my friend and that one way or another we can hook up in the new year!! Lots of hugs from the gang in the north :-)

Oh Emmitt, I heartily agree! Decorations don't come down until 6 th Jan!

Mine does this too - only he can still bat the decorations around because we're keeping the tree up until Epiphany as is my family's custom. But he does just love to sit under it, looking out at us.

I vote with Emmit. Christmas is not over till Jan 06, the Feast of the Ephiphany. Of course I got an artificial tree last year just for the sole purpose of having it up until Feb! I need the lights during winter big time. And do not have to worry about a fire.
