Tingene som for mig til at smile .. Things that make me smile

The last three weeks have been incredibly difficult without so many smiles. However, Mads and I have had lots of hours together....and we have learned that it is very important that we FIND the things that give us a reason to smile.... One of those things is my blog, so ..... I AM BACK!

The things that made me smile in the last three weeks:

A care-package from Amy and Kay filled with everything I cannot find in Denmark!

Mennesker som elsker at rejse mere end mig! Ja, USA nummerplader i skandinavia!
People who love to travel more than me! Yes, USA license plates in Scandinavia!

When Germans believe that they actually know what "Honky Tonk" means!

Tager Albert på hans første bådtur!
Taking Albert on his first boat ride!

Blomster fra mine elever!
Flowers from my students!

og blomster fra mine "expat" veninder!!
and flowers from my expat friends!!

og blomster fra mine kollegaer!
and flowers from my staff!

Choosing the house along the river in Silkeborg that we want to buy (after we win the lotto, of course!)

and days out in the forest with my best friend....

I admire you for being able to think positive throughout your life. Good thing that you've listed these things :)

Ok, so now it's my turn to ask what does honky tonk actually is?

Good to see you smiling! Max wore the exact same worried expression on his first boat ride. Welcome back.

I have something else to add to all that good stuff. You may remember a while back that I had a specific item that I was going to mail Mads (that's sure to put a smile on your face as well) Well, it's been sitting around my house now for a month and I'm going to make myself drag my sorry bum to the post to get that to you guys. Glad you are back...

Welcome back :)

I'm just sitting here imagining Lexi and Zoe on a boat - or more likely, swimming along side as they'd never stay put!
