En Dansk Halloween ... A Danish Halloween

Many American things have come across the Atlantic...Valentines Day, McDonals, Kelli Nørgaard...and now--Halloween! I have seen signs of Halloween appearing around Herning the last few weeks, so I decided to participate! I invited Monica's kids to come to a little Halloween party at our place because I knew they were used to having fun things on October 31! I saw an ad for "Halloween Children´s Night" from Herning Church (YES--I said CHURCH!) so we planned to meet there at 7 to see what they had planned for the kids and come to our place afterward. We all had such a fun night together, and I hope it helped 3 American kiddoes miss America a little less...

I think our first Halloween in Denmark was great! And we already have bigger plans for next year!

Leave it to the school teacher to come up with such great ideas to engage children who might be a little homesick from their country. You are such a natural! Looks like everyone had fun.

What a nice celebration! More exciting than the Halloween I had for sure. Although I did watch the season 7 finale of Glimore Girls...
