En landmands kone?! A farmer´s wife?!

Nej...
No.... I am a banker´s wife, but after this weekend, I think I am ALMOST a "farm woman"!! And I am sure my Lowery family will NOT believe this!

I took Monica til Bilka on Monday and bought enough groceries to last us til Christmas, as the receipt shows!! But on Sunday I "shopped" at a different place!

LOL)

My classmate from Lærdansk often brings apples from his apple trees to me (because he knows I eat JIF and apples everyday), and since we have fall break this week, he invited me to come out and pick my own apples! So on Sunday, Mads and I drove to his house and picked apples, plus many other things! (Yes, with my own hands! LOL)

Vi mødte hans husdyr, "Julemad", andet!
We met his pet, "Julemad," the duck! (his name means "Christmas dinner"!)

The apples from his trees taste AMAZING! But now, I need more apple recipes!!

I also picked blackerries, carrots, Cayenne peppers, and grapes. And I am learning how to freeze things so we have fresh fruits and veggies all winter! Next task-- at organize our freezer because it is getting quite full!

It was actually fun to get a little dirty...because I think "shopping" outdoors is the best idea!

What an appropriate name for the duck;) I think growing own fruits and veggetables, are the healthest produces. I wish I can have those giant chilli pepper. I need to put more spices in Danish food.

Kelli, you need to buy a house with fruit trees and a large garden and greenhouse. I think the organic green lifestyle will suit you to a tee.
