Dag 3--Nørgaard Eventyr ... Day 3--Nørgaard Adventure

Everyone knows how wonderful my mother-in-law is as a "tour guide", but on day 3 of our family weekend, I learned that my father-ín-law is also a great one! The family agreed to spend our day in Grenå, which is located on the coast of the Kattegat Sea. So we loaded up in 3 cars and headed east! Mads and I (and Albert) rode with Thomas and Taimi and after only five minutes in the car, Thomas asked me if I would like to see a "manor farm" and a castle along our way... OF COURSE my answer was "YES!", so we left the highway to what we call, in America, the "scenic route". It was amazing!

Kasper er klar til vores "vej tur" ... Kasper is ready for our "road trip"

Vi fulgte Margueritruten (Opkalt efter Dronning Marguerites Tusindfryd Rute) ... We followed the "Margueritruten" (Named for Queen Marguerite´s Daisy Route)

En Meget Gammmel Herregård ... A very old manor house (like a plantation in America)

Sostrup Castle, which was used as a convent many years ago

Jeg elsker at kigge på vindmøller ... I love to look at the windmills

The Kattegat Sea looks cold & rough. Were there beaches there or just rocks? I loved the old Manor House and the beautiful scenery!

What a lovely scenic tour...I wish I could take a scenic tour here and see a castle. Of course, if I'm traveling in West Plano or Allen, perhaps I will!

It also looks like you guys are single handedly standing up against inflating petrol prices! :)
