3 months ago, today, I moved to Denmark.
It is amazing to think about how much I have learned, how many places I have seen, and how many people I have met! Here is a quick review of what I have learned during my first 90 days in Denmark...

Cykler en cykel er "transport"
Riding a bike is "transportation"

I cannot afford my shoe habit in Denmark!

Aldrig, aldrig, aldrig går ud huset uden en paraply!
Never, never, never leave the house without an umbrella!

Mowing grass is not fun in Texas OR in Denmark!

Der er en "Dansk måde" at genbruger!
There is a "Danish way" to recycle!

Funktion er mere viktig end mode!
Function is more important than fashion!

I CAN DRIVE a car with a clutch!

Amerika er OVER ALT!
America is EVERYWHERE!

and my family is only a plane-ride away...

Skål til mine næste tre måneder!
Heres to my next three months!

Yay!!! I'm looking forward to your new adventures!!!

I have also learned to bring an umbrella or a sweater whenever I go out. I took a picture of Kenneth recycling as well.

How did you apply for your residency? In U.S. or in DK? We're looking into the application right now. Thanks.

Can't believe it has been 3 months since you left Texas for your new home in Denmark. Time flies when you're having fun - when you left, I thought I would die....but I have survived. So many things going on with Dad & MoMo that I haven't had too much time to focus on your absence....but I do miss you - will be glad when we arrive in Denmark in November! Love ya!

It's sounds like you're embracing the differences...aren't there any electric or gas lawn mowers?!

Love the power lawn mower!!!! Looks like the one I learned on.
At least it saves the atmosphere.

Hey I am also new in Denmark - 2 months now! How long have you been studying Danish? You seem to be fluent, I was wondering if there is a way to learn it express like you :)

Great post! ADapting to DEnmark seems similar to adapting to the UK. Except for the fact that you have to speak another language!
