Day one...in Miami!

Well, we are back at the hotel and most of you are wondering why in the world I am on the computer posting this entry.....instead of going to bed! :o) LOL But, hey,I am all about keeping all of our friends and family connected to our adventures in Florida! So here we go....

It was the perfect day...from the weather to the sites to the company! After a HEARTY AMERICAN breakfast at Perkins (Florida's version of Denny's), we headed east to Fort Lauderdale...Mads was the driver and I was the navigator!! I am sure most of my friends are breathing a sigh of relief that I was not driving AND texting all the way across Florida! Although he may say that my navigating skills were not the greatest... HEY, we made it back! :o)

We drove along the coast of Lauderdale and saw a few things but then headed directly to Miami beach...or South Beach as the locals call it! Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
From upscale shopping to incredible fruity drinks and calamari at Mango's to walking along the beach...looking out into the Atlantic...to the TRANSVESTITE that was dancing all up and down Ocean Avenue... it was a GREAT DAY! My original plan was to take him to Senor Frogs, but they had closed their Miami Beach location last month, so we "settled" for Mango's where the waitresses made the Hooters girls look like convent girls... right down to the Coyote ugly type of dancing on the bar!

We shopped, we talked, we laughed and we completely enjoyed ourselves!!! And are looking forward to an even better day tomorrow!! I am taking him to experience his first OUTLET MALL! I have finally found someone who likes to shop as much as I do!!

miss you all...and more to share tomorrow...Kelli

and now a few words from the Viking himself.....

I swear, that Viking crap he typed needs some VOWELS. But I think I can guess what "sluttede" means. I've seen some girls on our campus doing that A LOT.

Kelli, you look stunning in the beach picture... your hair is all daytime soap opera chic, perfectly windswept and the exact right amount of highlighting. Lovely!

Really would have liked to see pics of the transvestite.
